The number of patients with side effects in the ARTREX group was similar to that in the placebo group. The most common side effects seen were due to gastrointestinal problems. Since they were equal in the two groups, in all the studies conducted so far, it can be reasonably concluded that ARTREX is not associated with any significant side effects. There were no adverse effects of ARTREX on the hematological values or the various biochemical and metabolic parameters evaluated in the study.
